My passion and purpose is to help super busy professionals balance their heart, mind, and soul with their working lives.
Connecting with your true self through discovering your purpose in life is key to mastering a mellow life. A life where you are fully nourished, where you are feeling your best, truly satisfied, and accepting of your present moment. Sounding like a tall order when you are super busy at work? When you have deadlines, competing priorities and responsibilities? I get it!
I will help you to recognise your personal power, your strengths, and your utter fabulousness (sometimes we lose or forget these on our life journey). I will help you make transformational changes to your life (p.s. it's all inner work) so that you can show up authentically, balanced, and truly mellow.
Working as an NMC registered mental health nurse for over 30 years, latterly as an academic in Higher Education in the UK, I have seen how important personal development is for busy professionals. I have witnessed colleagues and friends suffer with burn out, stress, depression and anxiety. I have also seen people thrive, step into their personal power and achieve great things for themselves and others through bringing compassion and authenticity to the workplace.
It was as an academic in Higher Education that I booked in to see a coach for myself and from there, everything changed. I had a huge light bulb moment that sent ripples across my life. The coaching approach felt like the missing piece to client conversations, to colleague conversations, to dialogue that I had with myself. I felt liberated. Before long, Mellow Coaching and Consultancy was born. I had gained a coaching qualification for myself, and in partnership with my business colleague Alex, Mellow was brought forward, a unique blend of mental health nursing and coaching to help people get the shifts in life that they deserve.
Hi, I’m Donna
Mellow Consultancy
As a mental health nurse with expertise in care plan template design, I offer consultancy services focused on creating user-friendly, evidence-based templates that integrate seamlessly with electronic health records. My approach prioritizes service user experience, collaborative working, and shared decision-making, while ensuring the templates meet organizational requirements for guiding clinical care and supporting a shared document for effective communication.
Alex is a busy professional too and his focus is on Mellows operations and technical side.
Based in the UK, we decided to offer Mellow services online rather than in person. We recognise that online can bring its challenges, especially if you already have a job that is ‘screen heavy’ however, we wanted to offer flexibility for people and didn’t want to be constricted by a geographical location. Getting to meet people from all over the world is quite the blessing and its an opportunity that we are thankful for.
